Oxford, Connecticut

Clients Served: Government

Loureiro was selected by the Connecticut Department of Transportation to construct a new maintenance garage building at the Waterbury-Oxford Airport. The building is a 65 foot by 50 foot pre-engineered metal building with 20 foot eve height and two 25 foot wide bay doors. The building is insulated, has full utilities and includes a floor trench drain connected to an oil/water separator.

Our crews performed all the site work, extended the gas main 800 feet, tied in new water service, extended other utilities from an adjacent building, and constructed the concrete foundation for the building. LCI crews obtained necessary FAA security clearance and coordinated with FAA to gain approval for the use of a crane for building erection.
