Loureiro’s mechanical (HVAC) design included HVAC load computations of the affected areas; revisions to the existing central ductwork distribution system to serve the first floor rooms affected by the renovation; design of modifications to the existing baseboard radiation serving the areas affected by the renovation; and design of new ductless split systems to serve basement locker rooms and new server room.

The electrical design included powering new modular furniture, lighting, powering general receptacles, fire alarm and rough-ins for telephone/data drop locations within the renovated rooms. Electrical scope also included powering of any new HVAC equipment and new server room. The project included extensive coordination with other consultants working on the project including preferred fire alarm, telecom and security vendors. Loureiro also provided support during bidding including attendance at bidder’s walkthrough and review of bidder’s written questions.

Our engineering services during construction included site visits, final project punch, review of equipment shop drawings, review and issuing of responses to contractor RFIs including developing field sketches based upon contractor RFIs and developing as-built drawings based upon contractor marked-up drawings.
