Loureiro provided the design of a secure compartmented information facility (SCIF) to support development and manufacturing operations. This was constructed within an existing facility. Building design included secure, STC 50 perimeter wall design with the facility meeting DCID TEMPEST standards.

The plumbing system included new humidification systems, natural; gas piping supply and various steam, condensate and water systems. The existing fire protection system was reworked to incorporate the new lab facility. The electrical systems included new power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems. Structural design for the project included complete review of the existing building structure to determine the best way to support the new HVAC equipment from a roof structure that was not designed to support any additional loading.

Architectural design included modifications to the existing building and review of egress paths, handicapped accessibility requirements and code required toilet facilities. The project included full Construction Administration services.
