Loureiro provided integrated design services in support of additions to the City of Danbury’s Engine Company #26 firehouse. Working as a subconsultant to the architect, Loureiro supported the design of the 7,000 square-foot addition to accommodate additional fire apparatus and support equipment. The building addition is designed with four, double-deep bays, and includes a dedicated equipment storage area enhanced with a mezzanine to provide additional capacity. The scope of work included structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, permitting, and special inspections coordination.
