Ian Kapura has been working with his hands for as long as he can remember. “My dad was a carpenter,” he says. “When I was 12 years old, I was working with him on job sites. I knew, early on, I’d be working with my hands.” Ian went to a trade high school, working in carpentry before finding his way into concrete work. He liked the fresh air, the physicality of it. “When you’re good at something, you stick with it,” Ian says.
