October is Employee Ownership Month, and our teams came together to celebrate what it means to be an employee-owned company.

In Plainville, twenty new hires participated in this year’s ESOP Games, a hands-on learning experience that puts employee-owners in the driver’s seat of business ownership. Working in teams, participants made real-time decisions about hiring, investments, and operations and saw how each choice affects company financials and ESOP value across multiple years of simulated activity.

The friendly competition sparked great discussions, new connections, and a deeper understanding of how individual actions shape our shared success.

Employee ownership also reached into the community this month. Teams across Loureiro took part in service projects, including the Plainville office’s playhouse build. Employee-owners and their families assembled and donated five playhouses to local families through the Plainville Food Pantry.
